AppleCD 1200i
Accessories1995Uncommon
An 8x speed (1200 KB/s) internal CD-ROM drive, among the last Apple-branded optical drives before the company transitioned to third-party mechanisms. Bundled with Power Mac 9500 and later Power Mac configurations, it represented the practical ceiling of CD-ROM speeds before DVD-ROM drives began appearing in consumer Macs with the Power Mac G3.
