Apple III Plus

Apple's second attempt to fix the Apple III — a revised logic board, a real-time clock, a new keyboard, and a lower price. Apple had recalled 14,000 of the original Apple IIIs; the Plus was meant to restore confidence. It didn't. By 1983 the Lisa had launched and the Macintosh was less than a year away. The Apple III Plus was discontinued after less than two years, a postscript to an already-concluded failure.
