Macintosh LC III+
Performa 460
Desktops1993Uncommon
The LC III bumped the processor to 25 MHz and the address bus to 32-bit, allowing it to address more RAM than its predecessors. It was the most capable low-cost Mac Apple had built to that point, and it bridged the consumer LC line forward into the Quadra era. The LC III+ later pushed to 33 MHz, making it the fastest 68030 LC before the transition to 68040-based LC models.
