The Multiple Scan displays were Apple's first multisync monitors — capable of adapting to multiple video modes rather than being locked to a single resolution. This flexibility made them compatible with a wider range of Mac models and video cards. Available in 14, 15, 17, and 20-inch sizes through the mid-1990s, the Multiple Scan line served the broad professional and prosumer market before the Studio Display line took over.
