The original 128K Macintosh — the computer that changed everything, introduced with Ridley Scott's '1984' Super Bowl commercial. 128 kilobytes of RAM, a 400K floppy, an OS that fit in 64K of ROM. Jobs called it insanely great; engineers called it underpowered from day one. Discontinued within a year as the 512K Fat Mac proved the concept needed more memory to breathe.
